Timbila African Adventures is a unique fishing adventure.
We offer fishing at numerous venues. However we focus primarily on remote location like Barotse land on the Zambezi river and Lake Iteshi-teshi on the Kafue river.
The Iteshi not very well known but is probably the best fishing spot for bream like the Nemwe and Humpback species. There are quite a few other species of bream and tilapia like Rainbow happies and the three spot.
Barotse on the Zambezi, is well known for its huge tiger fish. On these trips we do camping as well as lodging.
Around Kasane we focus on the Kasai Channel and the stretch of Zambezi river from Mbova to Katima Mulilo

Timbila African Adventures

We pick you up at Livingstone International. From there we take you to see the Victoria Falls. If you are adventurous enough you can take a swim in DEVILS POOLS in the Zambezi overhanging the drop off of the falls. After this we continue with our journey to the best bream fishing destination in Africa. The route takes us through the Southern Kafue National. We enter the national park at the southern entrance driving through the Nanzilla Plains seeing plenty of wild animals. We may even come across some lion around here if we are lucky. We eventually arrive at our lodge, which will be our home for the next couple days and nights. At sunrise the following morning, we embark on our fishing adventures as the sun rises over the lake. We have lunch on one of the many islands on the Lake. After lunch, the rest of the afternoon is spent trying to beat the record catch of the day. As the sun sets over the lake, we return to our lodge for drinks around the fire with a spectacular view over the lake. A awesome dinner and good company takes us late into the evening before retiring for the night.
